We have ten listed, from Eastwood and West Ryde to Gladesville, Ryde and Hunters Hill, with piano and guitar options among them. No music events or one-off classes are listed at the moment, so this guide is about the schools you can contact.

Questions to ask before you book
- What ages and levels does the teacher take?
- Are lessons one on one or in a group?
- Is there a trial lesson, and how do fees and term dates work?
- Do you need to bring or buy an instrument?
- Is there parking or public transport close by?
We do not have prices, timetables or age ranges for these schools, so please check with each one.
Fitting lessons in
Choose a school near home or school so lessons stay easy to keep up. West Ryde has the most listed, which makes it useful if you want to compare a few in one trip. If your child has not settled on an instrument, ask whether a school lets you try something first before committing. Ask about weekday afternoon and weekend times too.
Schools change their class times and places, so use each organiser's own page for the latest details. We are still adding music options across Ryde and Hunters Hill, so check back soon.
