Learning options for kids in the Sutherland Shire start with the local library. We have ten places listed: seven libraries, two museums and a special needs toy library. No regular classes, STEM programs or events are listed at the moment, so this guide covers the places and what to ask them.
Libraries across the Shire
The listed libraries are in Caringbah, Cronulla, Engadine, Menai, Miranda, Sutherland and Sylvania. We do not have their children's session times, so ask each library what it runs for kids, which ages the sessions suit and whether you need to book. Museums
Two museums are listed:

- Sutherland Shire Historical Society Inc and Museum, in Sylvania Heights.
These suit an outing where kids look, ask questions and learn about local history. We do not have opening days, prices or any children's activities for either, so check each one's own page before you set off.
A toy library for children with additional needs
Sutherland Special Needs Toy Library is listed in Sutherland. Ask the organiser how membership works, which kinds of toys and equipment are available, and how families can borrow. We do not hold any of those details.
