Nine play spots are listed for kids in The Hills. They include indoor venues, bowling and arcades, plus playgrounds and parks. We don't have any playgroups listed yet, and we're still adding them. The events and clubs below list the spots we have, with links.

Playgrounds and parks

  • Willsford Homes Reserve Playground in Baulkham Hills.
  • Robin Hood Park in Baulkham Hills.
  • Mungerie Playground in Rouse Hill.

We don't have details of the equipment, shade or fencing at these, so look around when you arrive. A park is an easy place to start if you want a no-booking outing.

Indoor play, bowling and arcades

  • iPlay Castle Towers in Castle Hill.
  • AMF Castle Hill, Strike Bowling and Zone Bowling, all in Castle Hill.
  • Timezone in Rouse Hill.
  • Boxxd In Lounge in Baulkham Hills. We don't have details of what it offers, so check its page.

These places can suit a wet day or a birthday outing. We don't have prices, opening hours or age limits, so check each venue before you go. Bowling and arcade venues often have rules about age, height or adult supervision, so ask.

What about playgroups?

Playgroups are a good way for babies and toddlers to meet other children. We have none listed for The Hills at the moment. Your local council and local libraries are good places to ask about playgroups near you. We'll add any we find.

Planning a play outing

  • For toddlers, a playground near home is simple and quick. For older children, bowling or an arcade can fill a longer outing.
  • If you have children of different ages, look at what each venue allows before you go, so nobody is left out.
  • Pack water and snacks, and a hat and sunscreen for playgrounds.
  • Allow time for parking, particularly at shopping centres on busy days.
  • Keep a spare set of clothes in the bag for little ones.

Keep checking back

Opening hours and rules change, so go to each venue's own page for the latest details. We're still adding play spots and playgroups across The Hills, so check the listings below again soon.

Built from Roolu's local listings. Dates, prices and ages can change, so check with each organiser before you go.
