Ten dance studios and schools are listed for kids in The Hills. Five are in Castle Hill, three in Baulkham Hills and two in Kellyville. The events and clubs below list them all with links to their own pages.

Dance studios by suburb

  • Castle Hill: Dance Pointe, LetsDanceBySaru, Sonic Performance and Production, Australian Performing Arts College and Elite Dance Centre Castle Hill.
  • Baulkham Hills: The Indian Dance School, Avilee Academy Of Dance and Latin Explosion Dance Company.
  • Kellyville: Next Level Performing Arts Beaumont Hills and Dev Asha Dance Academy.

Some names suggest a style, such as Indian dance at The Indian Dance School and Latin dance at Latin Explosion Dance Company. We don't have class lists for the others, so check each studio's page to see which styles and ages it offers.

What we don't know yet

We don't have class times, prices or age ranges for these studios, and no dance events are listed in The Hills at the moment. Ask the studio directly about:

  • the youngest and oldest ages it takes
  • whether there is a trial class
  • what to wear and bring
  • whether classes follow school terms
  • costs for uniforms, concerts or exams, if any

Choosing a studio

  • Look at where the studio sits compared with your school run. A studio near home or school is easier to stick with.
  • If your child is new to dance, ask about beginner groups and how large they are.
  • If your child already dances, ask how the studio handles more advanced groups.
  • Visit or watch a class if you can. It tells you more than a description does.
  • Talk to your child about what they want to try. A child who picked the style is more likely to look forward to class.

Planning the first class

  • Check the studio's page or contact them for the current timetable before you go.
  • Leave extra time for parking, especially around busy shopping areas.
  • Bring a water bottle and have your child wear clothes that are easy to move in.
  • Expect some children to want to watch first. That is a normal start.

Keep checking back

Timetables and class offers can change, so go to each studio's own page for the latest details. We're still adding dance options across The Hills, including the smaller suburbs, so check the listings below again soon.

Built from Roolu's local listings. Dates, prices and ages can change, so check with each organiser before you go.
