For kids' learning in Campbelltown and Camden, we currently have libraries, museums and heritage places listed. We don't have any classes or events yet, and we're still adding them. The events and clubs below list what we have, with links.

Libraries

  • Campbelltown Library (HJ Daley) in Campbelltown.
  • Eagle Vale Library in Campbelltown.
  • Narellan Library in Camden.
  • The Camden Council Library Service.

Libraries often run sessions for children, but we don't have their programs yet. Check each library's own page, or ask at the desk, for story times and other activities. A library card also gives your child a way to borrow books on a topic they love, which is a simple kind of learning at home.

Museums and heritage places

  • Camden Museum in Camden.
  • Thelmere Railway Museum in Camden.
  • Richmond Villa Heritage Centre in Campbelltown.
  • Minto Carriage Museum in Campbelltown.

These suit curious children who like old things, trains and carriages. We don't have opening days, hours or entry costs, and some small museums open only on certain days. Please check before you travel. Small museums are often run by volunteers, so it helps to ask ahead if you want to bring a group.

Other learning listings

Begin Bright Harrington Park is also listed under learning in Camden. We don't have details of what it offers, so contact them to ask about ages and sessions.

What we don't know yet

We have no learning classes, STEM programs or events in Campbelltown and Camden listed at the moment. That is a gap in our listings. It doesn't mean nothing is on. We're looking for more, and we won't guess.

How to plan

  • Choose the library nearest home to start. It's a simple outing, and your child can borrow books.
  • Pair a museum visit with a picnic or a walk, if the venue has space. Check first.
  • For small museums, ask whether children need an adult with them, and how long a visit usually takes.
  • Pick one place per outing so the day stays easy.
  • Bring water and snacks. Not every venue has a cafe.

Keep checking back

Opening days and programs change, so use each organiser's own page for the latest details. We're still adding classes, STEM and events across Campbelltown and Camden, so check the listings below again soon.
