For toddlers in The Hills, the options we have listed are library sessions. There are eight, spread across Castle Hill, Rouse Hill and Baulkham Hills. The events and clubs below list them with links.

Sessions for babies and toddlers

  • Baby Bounce at Castle Hill Library, Dural Library and Vinegar Hill Memorial Library in Rouse Hill.
  • Toddler Time at Vinegar Hill Memorial Library.

We don't have age ranges, times or booking details for these, so check with the library. The names suggest Baby Bounce suits babies and Toddler Time suits children who are walking and talking a little.

Sessions that may suit older toddlers

  • Preschool Storytime at Baulkham Hills Library, Castle Hill Library and Vinegar Hill Memorial Library.
  • Bricks in the Library, run by Inclusive Builders, in Castle Hill.

These may suit children at the older end of the range, and we don't have age information, so ask the library before you go. If your toddler is younger, you may find Baby Bounce or Toddler Time is a better fit.

What we don't know yet

We have no toddler classes or clubs listed in The Hills yet, and no playgroups. We won't guess what is on, because details change. Your local library is a good place to ask about playgroups and other sessions near you.

Making a first visit easy

  • Choose the library closest to home so the trip is short.
  • Go early so your toddler can look around before the session starts.
  • Bring a drink, a small snack and a spare change of clothes.
  • Expect wandering. Toddlers often join in for a few minutes and then explore. That is normal.
  • If you have a baby and a toddler, ask whether both can attend the same session.

Keep it flexible

Little ones tire fast. Plan one session, and leave room for a rest afterwards, even if that means a quiet walk or a play at a nearby park. If your toddler doesn't settle, try again another week.

Keep checking back

Session times and rules can change, so use the library's own page for the latest details. We're still adding toddler activities across The Hills, so check the listings below again soon.

Built from Roolu's local listings. Dates, prices and ages can change, so check with each organiser before you go.
