Toddler activities in the Inner West on Roolu come to four classes and a few family outings. Two classes are in Marrickville, two are in Leichhardt, and the events are spread between Tempe, Ashfield and Marrickville. We've matched these to ages 0 to 3, but ask each organiser for the exact age band.
Classes
- READY SET DANCE Level 1, in Marrickville.
- JAM BUDDIES, in Marrickville.
- Mini Tigers, in Leichhardt.
- Mini Tigresses, in Leichhardt.
We don't have timetables, prices or whether a parent stays. Ask the studio, and ask about a trial session before you commit.
Outings
- Decathlon Tempe Kids Sports Party, in Tempe.
- European Christmas Market, in Ashfield.
These are family events rather than toddler sessions, so ask the organiser whether they suit very small children. Find out about pram access too, and whether there is somewhere quiet to stop.
The Addams Family, the musical, in Leichhardt and the Sashiko Workshop in Marrickville are also listed for the area, but we have not suggested them here because we have no sign they suit under-fours.
Planning the outing
- Keep it short. A toddler's mood sets the schedule more than the listing does.
- Marrickville and Leichhardt have two classes each, so pick one suburb and stay local to cut the travel.
- Ask whether siblings can come along, or whether there is a class for an older child at the same time.
- Pack a drink, a snack and a change of clothes.
Still adding
We're still adding playgroups, play spaces and toddler classes across the Inner West. If you run one, you can claim a listing on Roolu. For everyone else, the organisers' own pages are the place to confirm the latest details before you head out.
