Parramatta & Cumberland has a mix of public pools and a swim school listed for kids, spread across Auburn, Granville, Guildford, Greystanes and Toongabbie. We have no swimming events listed right now, so this guide covers the places to swim. Check each one's own page for what is on and when.

Pools and aquatic centres

  • Granville Swimming Centre (Granville)
  • Guildford Swimming Centre (Guildford)
  • Auburn Ruth Everuss Aquatic Centre (Auburn), with a training pool, a competition pool and a diving pool listed
  • Centenary Park Pool (Auburn)
  • Nickelodeon Beach (Greystanes)

Auburn has the most listed, so it is the place to look if you want a choice of pools. The different pools at Auburn Ruth Everuss Aquatic Centre suit different uses. Ask staff which one suits your child's age and confidence before you go. We don't have details of what Nickelodeon Beach offers, so check its page before you plan a trip.

Swim school

  • JUMP! Swim Schools (Toongabbie)

This is the swim school we have listed for the area. For lessons, ask about age, level placement, lesson length and class size. We haven't been given prices or timetables.

Questions worth asking

  • What age can my child start, and how do you decide their level?
  • Can we try a lesson or watch one first?
  • How does booking work, and what happens if we miss a week?
  • What should my child bring?

Choosing by suburb

Guildford, Granville and Auburn have public pools. Greystanes has Nickelodeon Beach, and Toongabbie has the swim school. We don't have anything listed yet for Parramatta, Westmead, Wentworthville, Pendle Hill or Merrylands, and we're still adding more. If you live there, look at which listed place is the shortest trip.

Planning a swim

A short trip makes a regular swim more likely to happen. Ask each place about its opening hours and about any entry rules for children, such as how closely a parent needs to supervise. We haven't been given those details.

The places below link to what we know so far. For current details, use the organisers' own pages or contact them directly.

Built from Roolu's local listings. Dates, prices and ages can change, so check with each organiser before you go.
