We don't have a long list of holiday programs in Guildford itself yet. There is a good spread of pools, libraries and clubs in the suburb, plus a few events a short trip away in Merrylands, Auburn and Parramatta. The Summer school holidays run from 18 Dec 2026 to 27 Jan 2027 (starting in 7 weeks). These are NSW public-school dates. Catholic and independent schools can differ, so check your own school's calendar.

What is on near Guildford

Most of the events we have listed are in neighbouring suburbs. In Merrylands there are two basketball clinics, one for ages 6 to 9 and one for ages 10 to 13, and the Super Smart Play Bus Playgroup. In Auburn there is a School Readiness Program. In Parramatta there is ABii Robot Tutoring for ages 4 to 11 at Wentworth Point Library, and a messy sensory play session for babies.

Some of these may be planned around the school term rather than the break. Check with the organiser that a session runs during the holidays before you build a day around it.

Clubs and places in Guildford

  • Guildford Swimming Centre, a local pool for a day in the water.
  • Guildford Library and Chester Hill Library and Knowledge Centre, handy for a quieter day out.
  • Sefton Tennis Academy, for kids who like racquet sports.
  • Birrong Leisure Centre and Auburn RSL Bowling Club, both listed for the area.
  • Elite Fight Force, which looks like a fighting-sport and fitness club going by the name. Ask what they offer for children.
  • Peacock Gallery and Arts Studio, for kids who like to make things.

We haven't been given opening times or holiday timetables for these, so call or check their own pages first.

Ideas by age

  • Babies and toddlers: the messy sensory play session in Parramatta and the playgroup in Merrylands.
  • Children about to start school: the School Readiness Program at Auburn. Ask the organiser which ages it suits.
  • Ages 4 to 11: robot tutoring in Parramatta.
  • Ages 6 to 13: the basketball clinics, split by age group.
  • Any age: the pool, the libraries and the art studio.

Planning the day

Pair one planned activity with one easy local stop. A morning clinic in Merrylands followed by a swim back in Guildford is a simple plan, though you should check travel times and parking for yourself. Book directly with the organiser, because places, prices and times are set by them and we haven't listed any prices.

The events and clubs below show what we have found so far, and we're still adding holiday programs near Guildford. For the latest details, use the organisers' own pages.

Built from Roolu's local listings. Dates, prices and ages can change, so check with each organiser before you go.
