Looking for school holiday activities in Richmond? We have no one-off holiday events listed yet, but there are two classes and a good spread of clubs, studios and a library, all based in Richmond. The Summer school holidays run from 18 Dec 2026 to 27 Jan 2027 (starting in 6 weeks). These are the NSW public-school dates. Catholic and independent schools can differ, so check your own school's calendar.

Ideas by age
We don't have age ranges for the studios and clubs, so we can't say which suit a toddler and which suit a teenager. Karate and jiu jitsu clubs often take children at set ages, and the tennis association may run junior sessions, but check with each one. The library is a simple option on a quiet day. Ask what it has on for children during the break.
We're still adding holiday programs near Richmond, so if nothing here fits, check back as the break gets closer.
Planning the day
Everything we have listed is in Richmond, so you can often fit two things into one trip. A morning class and an afternoon library visit makes a full day without much travel. Regular classes and clubs don't always run through the break, so ask each organiser whether it does, whether a new child can try a session and how to book. We don't have prices or opening times.
If your child is interested in more than one thing, try a single session of each before you commit to a block of lessons. It costs less to find out early which one they enjoy.
Use the events and clubs below to find each organiser, then go to their own page for the latest details before you head out.
