Christmas outings, dance, art, swimming and martial arts make up most of what we have listed for Richards. None of it is marked as a holiday-only program yet, so think of this as a shortlist and ask each organiser what they run once school is out.
The Summer school holidays run from 18 Dec 2026 to 27 Jan 2027 (starting in 6 weeks). These are NSW public-school dates, and Catholic and independent schools can differ.
Christmas outings at The Vineyard
Three events are listed in Vineyard: Woodlands Christmas at The Vineyard, Santa Photos at The Vineyard and Christmas Carols at The Vineyard. Check the organiser for times, tickets and anything you need to book. If you want to see Santa, find out early whether you need a booking.
Classes in Windsor and Llandilo
- Windsor: Mini Magic and Dance & Fun Jnr.
- Llandilo: Art Programs for ages 6 to 13, and Art Programs for ages 4.5 to 8.
The art programs are the ones with clear age ranges, so they are an easy match if you have a child in either bracket.
Clubs in Riverstone
Most of our clubs are listed in Riverstone:
- Swimming: Tadpoles Swim School.
- Martial arts: GKR Karate.
- Dance and stage: DIS DANCE and Natasha's Arts Theatre.
- Sport: Complete Cricket.
- Hobby: Hawkesbury Model Air Sports Inc. (HMAS), a model air sports club.
Ages are not given for these, so message each club and ask. It is also worth asking whether a child can try a session before you commit to a term.
Before you book
- Riverstone, Windsor, Llandilo and Vineyard are different places, so check travel times on your map and group outings by area.
- Ask each organiser about holiday sessions, because regular term-time classes do not always run.
- Book early where you can and keep a few days free.
- Take water, hats and sunscreen to anything outdoors.
