Looking for school holiday activities near Quakers Hill? We have a short list so far: a leisure centre, a library, a bushcare meet up and a few venues in nearby Doonside and Schofields. The Summer school holidays run from 18 Dec 2026 to 27 Jan 2027 (starting in 7 weeks). These are NSW public-school dates. Catholic and independent schools can differ, so check your own school's calendar.

What is listed in Quakers Hill

In Quakers Hill itself, we list Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope, Dennis Johnson Library and a venue called Trek. We don't yet have holiday timetables or prices for them. Leisure centres and libraries sometimes run programs for kids during the break, but we can't confirm what is on, so ask each one before you go.

Nearby in Doonside and Schofields

Doonside has a bushcare meet up at Nurragingy Reserve, plus two more library listings. Bushcare is a community group that looks after local bushland. Ask the organiser whether children can join, which ages suit and what to bring.

Schofields lists Rouse Hill Estate, Rouse Hill House and Croc's. We don't have details of what each one offers for children, so check their own pages before planning a trip.

Questions to ask before you go

  • What days and times is it open or running?
  • What does it cost, and do I need to book?
  • What ages is it for, and do I need to stay with my child?
  • What happens if it rains?
  • Is there somewhere to park, and how long will it take to get there?
  • Is there anything I need to bring?

Planning the break

With a short list, it helps to keep the plan simple. Choose one outing a week and treat the other days as home days. Doonside and Schofields are separate trips from Quakers Hill, so allow time for the drive and don't try to fit two in a day.

Start with a phone call or a look at the website of the leisure centre and the library. Ask for their kids' holiday timetable, then build your week around what they give you. Fill the gaps with the bushcare meet up or a trip to one of the Schofields venues.

If your kids are different ages, check the age limits for each place first. Bring water, sun protection and a snack for any outdoor visit.

We're still adding holiday programs near Quakers Hill. For the latest details, check the organisers' own pages.
