Enfield has swimming, art, a life saving club and a few classes on its doorstep, with library sessions and more classes in the next suburbs over. We list six events, six classes and eight clubs and venues around Enfield. The Summer school holidays run from 18 Dec 2026 to 27 Jan 2027 (starting in 6 weeks). Those are the NSW public-school dates, and Catholic and independent schools can differ, so check your own school's calendar.
Swimming and water play
Enfield Swimming Centre is listed in both Enfield and Ashfield. Splash Enfield, Little Monsters Swim School and Enfield Life Saving Club are also in Enfield. We don't have opening times, prices or ages for any of them, so ask each one what is on in the holidays and what a child needs to bring.
Art, music and dance
- Kidz Artworx Art School and Gallery in Enfield.
- ART JUST FOR FUN, a class in Enfield.
- Melody Music Academy in Strathfield South.

- Kpop Kids and Kpop Teens in Ashfield.
Other classes
Little Tigers is listed in Canada Bay, and Little Kickers has two groups, Ages 2.5 to 3.5 and Ages 3.5 to 5, in Lakemba. Lakemba is some distance away, so check the drive before you commit.
Library sessions
Preschool Storytime, Baby Rhymetime and Toddlertime are listed at Five Dock Library, and Baby Rhymetime and Toddlertime are listed at Concord Library. Several are listed for school term only, so they may not run in the holidays. Ask the library before you plan around them.
Planning the day
- Start with something close to home, like a swim or an art session, and add a second stop only if the distance is short.
- Book directly with organisers who ask for it.
- Pack water, hats and sunscreen for pool days.
- Check the pool's own page or the signs on the day for rules about children and supervision, because we don't hold them.
