Hillsdale has gymnastics, music, football and athletics close by, plus a few local events. We list three events, two classes and eight clubs and venues near Hillsdale. The Summer school holidays run from 18 Dec 2026 to 27 Jan 2027 (starting in 6 weeks). Those are the NSW public-school dates, and Catholic and independent schools can differ, so check your own school's calendar.
Clubs and places
In Hillsdale we list BK's Gymnastics Maroubra, Club Hillsdale, Heffron Hawks Football Club and the Heffron Centre. The Heffron Centre is also listed in Rosebery. In Eastgardens there are Song School Maroubra, KIKOFF Eastern Suburbs and Randwick Botany Little Athletics Centre.
We don't have prices, ages or opening times for these, so ask each one what runs in the holidays. Sporting clubs often follow a season, so a club may not have sessions on while school is out.
Classes
Kid's Play and Kid's Acro are both listed in Daceyville. We don't have an age range for either. Ask the organiser who they suit and whether they are on in the holidays.
Events
- The Sorcerer's Apprentice in Randwick.
- Rosebery Christmas Concert in Rosebery.
- Randwick toy swap at the Saturday Circle in Randwick.
We leave out dates and details. The organisers publish them, so check there before you go. A toy swap is an easy way to pass on outgrown toys, but ask the organiser what to bring.
