Looking for school holiday activities near Baulkham Hills? Most of what we list is library programs for babies, toddlers and preschoolers, plus a swim centre and a few local clubs. The Summer school holidays run from 18 Dec 2026 to 27 Jan 2027 (starting in 7 weeks). These are NSW public-school dates. Catholic and independent schools can differ, so check your own school's calendar.

Library programs

The events below are mostly library sessions in Baulkham Hills, Castle Hill and Dural. Going by their names, Baby Bounce, Toddler Time and Preschool Storytime are aimed at babies, toddlers and preschoolers. There is also Bricks in the Library with Inclusive Builders at Castle Hill. Check with the library for the age range, whether you need to book, and which sessions run during the break, as timetables can change.

Clubs and venues

Under Seven Hills, we list Wentworthville Memorial Swim Centre, PRCAC Model Aerodrome and Toongabbie Sports and Bowling Club. We also list libraries at Lalor Park, Wentworthville and Constitution Hill, including a library playground. City of Parramatta Council is listed too, for events held at its libraries. Ask each organiser about holiday sessions, prices and age limits.

Older children

We have few listings for primary-school-age children near Baulkham Hills so far. If your kids are older, the swim centre and the model aerodrome are worth asking about. Library staff can also tell you if any sessions suit school-age kids.

Planning the break

  • Pick the sessions that suit each child's age first, then work out the travel.
  • Castle Hill, Dural, Seven Hills and Parramatta are different trips, so group visits by area.
  • Check the library's website or ring before you go, in case a session is full or paused.
  • Bring a drink, a snack and a spare change of clothes for little ones.
  • Ask about toilets, baby change and a place for the pram if you have little ones.
  • Check whether you can stay for the whole session or must book a place.
  • Keep a quiet day between busy ones.

If you have a baby and an older child, a place with a playground can help. We list a playground at Constitution Hill Library, which may suit a mixed-age outing. The sessions list changes as organisers update it, so look at the events below on the day you plan to go.

We're still adding holiday programs for school-age kids near Baulkham Hills. For the latest details, check the organisers' own pages.

Built from Roolu's local listings. Dates, prices and ages can change, so check with each organiser before you go.
