Looking for school holiday activities in Acacia Gardens? We have music and dance classes, junior sport clubs and a few events listed in nearby Quakers Hill, Kellyville, Seven Hills, Blacktown and The Ponds. The Summer school holidays run from 18 Dec 2026 to 27 Jan 2027 (starting in 6 weeks). These are the NSW public-school dates. Catholic and independent schools can differ, so check your own school's calendar.

Events

  • A children's Swap your style party at The Ponds. Check the organiser's page for when it is held.
  • A bushcare meet up at Doonside Crescent Bushland Reserve in Blacktown. Check whether it suits children.

We have also seen a youth legal workshop in Blacktown. We don't have an age range for it, so check the organiser's page.

Music and dance

  • Intro to Music for pre-school and kindy children, Intro to Music (Keyboard) and Beginner Vocal Group, all in Seven Hills.
  • Mini Magic, Dance&Fun Jnr and Dance&Fun Snr in Kellyville.
  • Future Generation Dance Academy in Kellyville and Step Up & Dance in Quakers Hill.

The junior and senior names suggest the dance classes are split by age, but we don't have the ranges, so ask the organiser.

Junior sport

  • Quakers Hill Destroyers and Quakers Hill Pirates Baseball in Quakers Hill.
  • North West Hurricanes Junior Rugby League Club in Quakers Hill.
  • Quakers Hill Tigers Soccer Club in Quakers Hill.
  • Glenwood Athletics & Sports Club in Quakers Hill.
  • Sydney Sports Club in Blacktown.

Club sport often follows a season. Ask whether a club runs a clinic or a trial session in the holidays, because our listings don't say.

Planning the day

Acacia Gardens has no listing in the suburb itself, so everything here means a short trip. Look at the travel time first. Quakers Hill has the most clubs close together, which helps if you have more than one child in different sports.

For younger children, the pre-school music class is the clearest match. For older children, the vocal group and the sports clubs are worth asking about. Regular classes don't always run through the break, so ask each organiser whether it does, whether a new child can try a session and what it costs. We don't have prices.

Use the events and clubs below to find each organiser, then check their own page for the latest details.

Built from Roolu's local listings. Dates, prices and ages can change, so check with each organiser before you go.
