Looking for dance for kids in Canterbury-Bankstown? We have classes in Roselands and studios listed from Ashbury to Milperra, and no dance events at the moment. Here is how to sort them and where to start.
Ballet and first steps in Roselands
Roselands has the classes we list:
- READY SET BALLET.
- First Steps READY SET DANCE.
- Prep READY SET DANCE.
The names suggest a path from a first class towards something more structured, but we do not have ages or levels, so ask the organiser which one suits your child. Dance Theatre Network is also listed in Roselands.
Studios across the area
These are listed as dance clubs and studios:
- Ashbury: Dancing Hearts Studio Inc.
- Kingsgrove: Nadine's Academy of Dance.
- Padstow: SD Dance Studio.
- Panania: Ann Maree Dance.
- Punchbowl: Dance It Performing Arts Studio.
- Bankstown Aerodrome: Bollard School of Dance.
- Milperra: Dance 4 Fun.
- Undercliffe: Triple Menace Studios.
We do not hold styles, ages, fees or timetables for these, so contact each studio. Anything else about them is for the studio to tell you.
Choosing a class
- Start close to home or school, because a weekly class is easier to keep up when the trip is short.
- Ask about a trial class so your child can see the room and the teacher before you pay.
- Ask which age group a class is for, and whether it is a mixed group.
- Ask about uniform, shoes and any end-of-year show costs, which are for the studio to confirm.
Before you sign up
- Check term dates, class times and fees on the studio's own page.
- Ask how new students join partway through the year.
- Visit once if you can, and talk to the teacher about what your child enjoys.
- Keep an eye on this page. We're still adding dance events and classes across the area.
The classes and clubs below show what is listed right now, and the organisers' own pages always have the latest details.
