If you are planning a child's birthday in the Hawkesbury, we hold four party options, all in Windsor. They cover a venue, a mobile activity and party hire. This guide explains what we know and what to ask before you book.
What is listed
- Cornwallis House in Windsor
- Shine Shed North West in Windsor
- Mobile Go Karts Sydney in Windsor
- Jumpen Around Jumping Castle, listed under Jukebox And Party Hire, in Windsor
We don't hold details on prices, packages, party sizes or which ages each one suits. We don't want to guess, so ask each business before you plan around it.
How the options differ
- Mobile go karts: from the name, this is an activity that comes to you rather than a place you go to. Ask where it can be set up, how many kids can have a turn, and what age and height rules apply.
- Jumping castle hire: this is hire rather than a venue, so you will need a space, such as a backyard or hall, to put it in. Ask about space needed, set-up time and safety rules.
- Cornwallis House and Shine Shed North West: we don't have more detail on what they offer for parties. Ask whether they hold children's parties, what the room or space is like, and what you need to bring.
Matching a party to your child
The right choice depends on your child's age and the group. Younger children often do better with something gentle and short, while older kids may want a bigger activity. Because we don't have age ranges for these listings, ask each business which ages they recommend. Whatever you choose, think about how many kids are coming and how many adults you will need to supervise.
Questions to ask before you book
- Is the date and time free, and how long is the booking?
- What is the maximum number of children?
- What age range does it suit?
- Is there a deposit, and what is the cancellation policy?
- Can you bring your own food and cake?
- What is the plan if the weather is poor?
Planning tips
- Book early, as popular dates can fill up.
- Check parking and access if relatives are travelling in.
- Confirm all details in writing so everyone is clear.
We are still adding party venues and activities for the Hawkesbury, including Richmond and Londonderry. For the latest details, go to each business's own page or contact them directly.
