Finding something for a little one in Fairfield & Liverpool is easier with a plan. Roolu lists library sessions for babies and toddlers, plus a handful of dance and drama classes. Here is how they fit together.
Story and song sessions in Liverpool
The library sessions are the core of this list, and they cover a few ages:
- Baby Rhymetime is listed for ages 0 to 18 months.
- Toddler Time is listed for 18 months to 3 years.
- Supported Playgroups are listed for ages 0 to 5 years.
- Preschool Storytime is listed for ages 3 to 5 years, for when your toddler is nearly there.
- Saturday Storytime at Liverpool City Library is listed for ages 1 to 7, so it can suit a toddler with an older sibling.
Check the library for session times, whether you need to book and what the playgroup involves.
Little movers in Cecil Hills and Horsley Park
Tiny Tots DANCE, Tiny Tots HIP HOP / JAZZ and Tiny Tots SING / DRAMA are listed in Cecil Hills, along with Tiny Twirlers. A second Tiny Twirlers class is listed in Horsley Park. We do not have the age ranges for these, so check with the organiser that your child is the right age before you book. Ask about trial classes too.
Planning with a toddler
- Keep it short. One session and a play or snack afterwards is plenty.
- Arrive a little early so your child can settle before things start.
- Ask about prams and parking when you book.
- Bring water, snacks and a spare change of clothes.
Other items on the list
The list also includes youth chess sessions at Liverpool City Library and Green Valley Library, and Transition to School for four-year-olds. They are not aimed at toddlers, but they are handy to know about as your child grows.
We are still adding toddler options from Fairfield itself and the suburbs around it. The events and clubs below link to the latest details. Session times and ages are set by the organisers, so their own pages are the final word.
