Events and markets for kids in Ryde & Hunters Hill are still being added, so this guide is short and honest. Roolu has four events listed so far, and we would rather show you those than pad the page.
What is listed right now
- Le Marché in Woolwich is a community-led event. Check the organiser for what it includes and whether it suits young children.
- A community-led Remembrance Day event is listed in Hunters Hill. It is a quieter, more reflective outing. Check the organiser for the format and what to expect with little ones.
- Epping Night Markets are listed under Hunters Hill, and there is a second listing called Epping Night Market with the same location. They may be the same market, so check the organiser to confirm.
Making the most of a market
A night market is a casual outing. Kids can wander at their own pace, grab something to eat and head home when they are done. Check the organiser's page for opening times, which stalls will be there and whether there is any kids' entertainment. We do not have those details in our listings.
Planning around young kids
- Go early if you can. Evening markets get busy as it gets later.
- Ask about prams and wheelchairs if you need step-free access.
- Bring cash and a card. Some stallholders only take one.
- Pack a light layer for the evening, as it can cool down quickly.
Keep looking nearby
The area covers a long list of suburbs, including Gladesville, Eastwood, Macquarie Park and West Ryde. We do not have events placed in those suburbs yet, and we are still adding them. Check back soon, or look at the events and clubs below to see what has been added.
Prices, times and ages are set by the organisers, so their own pages are the final word before you head out.
