When the school holidays are
The Summer school holidays run from 18 Dec 2026 to 27 Jan 2027 (starting in 6 weeks). These are the NSW public-school dates. Catholic and independent schools can differ, so check your own school's calendar before you plan.
Classes
- Physie in Camden for ages 5 to 6, 7 to 8 and 9 to 10.
- Preschool Tumbling, Preschool Combo and Preschool Ballet in Smeaton Grange.
Ask the organisers whether the classes run in the holidays and which ages each one takes.
Places to go
Narellan Urban Forest Playground is listed in Camden and is the easiest place to start for a free-range outing. Narellan Library and the Camden Council Library Service are both listed too. Camden Museum of Aviation is also on the list. We have not been given opening days or entry prices for the playground, libraries or museum, so check with them before you go.
Clubs and lessons
- Camden Narellan Physie and Dance for dance.
- Akuna Aquatic Education for swimming.
- Dynamic Rhythms Music Academy for music.
- Courage Training Centre Sydney, also in Camden.
We have no prices, ages or session times for these, so please confirm with each one.
Planning the day
- Pick one main activity and a simple backup, such as the library on a wet day.
- Small studios may not run every week of the holidays, so ask first.
- Book ahead where the organiser takes bookings.
- Allow travel time, as the options are in Camden and Smeaton Grange.
