Looking for school holiday activities near Bow Bowing? We have three classes and eight clubs listed nearby, but no one-off events yet. Most of the options are in Campbelltown, with sport, dance and swimming leading the list. We are still adding holiday programs for this area.
When the school holidays are
The Summer school holidays run from 18 Dec 2026 to 27 Jan 2027 (starting in 6 weeks). These are the NSW public-school dates. Catholic and independent schools can differ, so check your own school's calendar before you plan.
Classes
Three Broadway Program classes are listed in Campbelltown: Twinkles, Stars for ages 7 to 11 and Stars for ages 12 to 16. The age groups suit a range of kids, but check with the organiser which one fits your child and whether anything runs in the holidays.
Sport, swimming and dance
- Campbelltown Oztag is the club listed in Bow Bowing itself.
- Netball: Minto Netball Complex and Campbelltown District Netball Association.
- Basketball: Macarthur Basketball Association.
- Swimming: Swim Experts.
- Dance: Triple T Dance.
- Rec Alley and the Minto Carriage Museum are also on the list for a change of pace.
We have not been given session times, ages or prices for these clubs. Some sport clubs run mainly in their own season, so ask what is on during the holidays. If your child is new to a sport, ask whether a casual or trial session is open to newcomers.
Planning the day
- Pick one main activity and a simple backup.
- Phone or message the organiser first. Small clubs may not run holiday sessions every week.
- Allow travel time to Campbelltown and Minto.
- If you want a quieter outing, the Minto Carriage Museum is listed, but check its opening days with the museum.
- Bring water, a hat and a snack, and ask the organiser what your child should wear.
