For kids
- While the centre is closed, the council suggests Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope, Charlie Lowles Leisure Centre in Emerton and Riverstone Swimming Centre. [2]
- The renewed centre is planned to have a new 25 m program pool for learn-to-swim, and a splashpad extension. [2]
- Before it closed, the centre had an outdoor splash pad for children of all ages and abilities, and an outdoor toddler's pool 0.3 m to 0.75 m deep with a sun shelter. [1]
Access and inclusion
- The renewed centre is planned to include inclusive amenities and changerooms. No detail is given yet. [3]
